ACIDINE T-S

ACIDIC MILK TANKER SPRAY CLEANER
BASED ON IODOPHORES 1.75% AVAILABLE IODINE

APPLICATION:
ACIDINE T-S is formulated for removal of milkstone, fatty and proteinaceous deposits and disinfection of all surfaces in contact with milk. Prevents formation of water hardness films on equipment.
 
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE:
Do not dilute using hot water exceeding 50°C (121°F). Always add to water and mix immediately.
 
MANUAL SANITISATION:
Dairy equipment: Rinse equipment in clean, cold water. Make a solution by dilution of 125ml to 40 litres (5fl.oz. to 10 gallons) of warm water. Immerse equipment and scrub in solution for at least two minutes. Rinse with clean, cold water and allow to drain.
 
Bulk milk tanks: Rinse all tank surfaces in clean, cold water. Make a solution using 125ml in 40lt (5fl.oz to 10 gallons) of warm water not exceeding 37°C/100°F. Remove the plug, dipstick etc, and brush thoroughly in the Acidine solution. Close the tank outlet and brush all interior surfaces of the tank, paying particular attention to the underside of the bridge and tank cover. Allow solution to collect in the tank outlet, open and brush while solutions run to waste. Allowing at least two minutes contact time with all surfaces.
 
Spray Sanitisation: For automatic and hand operated tank spray cleaning equipment, the instructions of the equipment manufacturers should be followed. All automatically cleaned tanks should be cleaned manually and sterilised at least once a month.
 
Final rinsing: Where chlorinated mains water is not available, or if the supply is
suspect, an approved hypochlorite may be added to the final clean rinse. Thoroughly rinse the tank lids and other components free of the solution by hosing with clean, cold water and allow to drain completely.
 
ANTIMICROBIAL EFFICACY DATA
ACIDINE TS passes stringent British Standards Test BS EN 1656 (Quantitative suspension test for the evaluation of bactericidal activity of Chemical Disinfectants and Antiseptics used in Food, Industrial, Domestic and Institutional areas) at 0.3% v/v. This means that at use dilution ACIDINE can achieve a 100,000-fold reduction in bacterial populations with only 5 min contact time, under dirty and hard water conditions.
