PROPERTIES AND APPLICATION

Amine Oxides find application in household cleaning products, dish washing detergents, bar and liquid soaps, shampoos and bubble baths.
 
Aside from the excellent surfactant/detergent properties, amine oxides impart beneficial properties to formulated products such as emolliency and substantivity.
 
Enhanced activity of anti-microbial products is often evident due to synergistic action with active ingredients.
 
AMOX 30 is soluble in aqueous and polar organic solvents such as alcohols, and compatible with most cleaning formulations.
 
Aliphatic Amine oxides behave as typical non-ionic surfactants in neutral and alkaline aqueous systems. At low pH (~3) the predominant species present will be a weakly cationic form, R3N+OH X-.
